Time tracking for the academic sector

Just a great app that is used in our company. It does not require a lot of resources on the server, has a great interface and a lot of features that are so necessary in everyday work.

Kimai has been a fantastic discovery. I reviewed several other time trackers, and frankly, none of them compared. Kimai just felt better right away. It’s easy to set up and use, with a clean design and just the right balance between features and simplicity, and the self-hosting option is a huge plus.

Kimai is my favorite software for tracking time spent on projects I have discovered. I have tried lots of different other solutions, i.e. Sugar CRM, but Kimai’s sweet and neat Web 2.0 usability beats them all. It’s user interface is an inspiring example for every Web developer out there.

If you are not tracking time yet, because it seems so complicated, give Kimai a try. You will love it!

Very useful and well maintained software! I use it everyday without problems. Feature requests are being considered and - if useful - implemented.

I needed to find a good time tracker on short notice, and wanted it to be EU hosted and open source. Luckily, I found Kimai and have been very happy with it ever since, especially because it is very straightforward and intuitive to use. After using it for my initial project, the Kimai team helped me migrate my data for company use, now allowing us to roll it out for the entire team without losing the original data.
